I've always been fascinated with mermaids.
It might have something to do with growing up surrounded by the sea or maybe it's because I was an avid reader when I was a child and read anything that I could find including every fairy tale book. I visited the Little Mermaid in Copenhagen, Denmark back in 1976. I've created a series of mermaids, merqueens, mermen and merkings incorporating textured metals.
